Every piece is handmade on our own production site to ethical, fair-trade and sustainable standards.
Our exclusive factory in Hong Kong employs 23 talented garment workers who carefully craft JulieMay's unique lingerie. In accordance with our supplier code of conduct, the dedicated team of seamstresses are paid above a living wage at HK$62.5 per hour, where the statutory minimum wage is HK$40 per hour.
We have an agreement with Peninsula Knitwear (JulieMay) International Ltd to uphold our supplier code of conduct and ensure the well-being of the seamstresses who make our garments.

What is JulieMay lingerie made from?
GOTS-certified organic Pima cotton with a natural mulberry silk lining. No harmful dyes or bleach are used, only eco-friendly detergents, making the lingerie hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. Read more about our organic cotton and silk.
Is JulieMay lingerie suitable for sensitive skin and allergies?
Yes. Made from organic cotton and silk with no harsh chemicals, JulieMay lingerie is allergy-friendly and hypoallergenic, and is approved by Menopause Experts for menopause-related skin sensitivity.
Where is JulieMay lingerie manufactured?
In JulieMay's own factory in Hong Kong, under an agreement with Peninsula Knitwear (JulieMay) International. Production is certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
How is JulieMay sustainable?
JulieMay uses organic, responsibly sourced fabrics, low-water small-vat dyeing, and plastic-free recyclable packaging. Through a partnership with Greenspark, the brand plants trees and removes ocean-bound plastic with every order.
