1. Our products are free from harmful chemicals.
Allergic skin reactions to clothing are often a result of harmful chemicals used in processing the fabric or clothing.
Our products are free from most of the possible allergens for textile contact dermatitis.
2. Our products are tag less.
Many people have found labels and tags irritating to their skin. These tags are sewn into the seams, which usually means cutting them close to the seams leaves a scratchy stub. We substitute tags by imprinting the info on the garments to avoid itching the skin.
3. We use Pima Cotton and Pure Silk as the main fabric.
We are the only brand that makes lingerie with Pure Silk and Pima Cotton. We provide a specialised allergy-friendly lingerie solution with support and functions. We also believe that allergy-friendly bras can be elegant and feminine.
Pima cotton is one of the best cotton in the world. The extra-long fibre of cotton provides maximum softness. Pima Cotton is tightly woven to provide a soft and breathable wearing experience to people with sensitive skin.
Pure Silk is processed using mainly water, steam and heat instead of chemicals during the manufacturing process. Pure Silk also repels mould, fungus and dust mites – major sources of allergens.
Pure Silk, a good summer fabric, is cool to the touch. Research and studies show that hot temperatures and sweating are known to worsen eczema and atopic dermatitis. Pure Silk works best in absorbing sweat and allows the skin to breathe. It is the perfect choice for those with sensitive skin.
The inner gusset of our briefs is made with 100% Pure Silk, which quickly absorbs and perspires moisture, prevents odours and provides the best feminine hygiene care.
All hooks, adjusters and wires on JulieMay's products are acrylic plastics. It provides a safer option for nickel-sensitive people.
Please have a look at our bra-making video under the product descriptions, you can see the hooks and wires are not attracted by magnets, and are non-metallic.
Our non-metallic wires are also bendable and will not be poking the skin.
The straps and under bands are rubber bands which have been carefully wrapped with 100% Pima Cotton so no elastics will be touching your skin. The bra gives you the stretch needed to fit perfectly without causing any reactions.
Our products have been tested by dermatologists and approved by customers with elastic allergies.
All our items are made with Organic Cotton and Silk. There is no lycra, and they are latex-free.
Thiuram is most often found in neoprene and chemicals. When we process our fabrics, all our bra sets do not contain any neoprene, latex, nickels, or harmful harsh chemicals. All underbust bands and waistbands are covered with Pima Cotton.
Typically, there are many irritants and harmful chemicals used in the process of dyeing fabric. These can include toxic dyes, formaldehyde, bleach, and other chemicals. We do not use bleach or other harsh chemicals when processing the materials. We have a verified lab report indicating that 22 nasty chemicals are absent in JulieMay’s materials, including formaldehyde and flame retardants.
We use cotton threads, cotton lace & trims across our range.
The paddings, both removable and built-in paddings, are filled with organic cotton. No synthetic nor polyester is used for the paddings.
Yes. Pima Cotton is one of the best cotton and much softer than ordinary cotton, and the silk we use in our bras is Mulberry Peace Silk. They are organic and sustainably sourced.
The mission of the brand is to make comfort bras elegant and feminine. We want to convey that comfort bras can also be attractive and sexy. Many customers find confidence in wearing our collection and, most importantly, feel comfortable without any skin reactions.
We need to go through the dyeing processes to create the styles and designs. However, not all dyeing means enzymatic. We do not use any bleach or harsh chemicals on our bras when processing the fabrics.
Regarding the environmentally friendly aspects, the industrial practice for dyeing clothing is to use a giant vat to dye one colour, resulting in high water usage and lots of waste. However, we keep all our productions in small patch productions, and we changed to a small vat during the dyeing process, saving lots of water and being environmentally friendly. Instead of using a big automated machine, all our pieces are processed by hand to save energy, including steaming, ironing, and washing.

Our bras are less stretchy as they do not have synthetic fibres. The right fit may differ from your usual bra size, so please refer to our size guide before purchase to ensure the right fit.
As our non-synthetic bras stretch differently, our sizing is different. Our current size range may fit you perfectly.
If you usually wear 30, our size 32 could fit you well. Our G cup may also fit you perfectly if you wear an H-HH cup. Please refer to your bust and band measurements with our size guide, or contact us if you are unsure about the size.

If the bra doesn’t fit, you can always return any unfit items to us for a refund.

We definitely recommend our full-cup collection! This collection is designed with wide straps and maximum coverage for support. If you prefer styles with more flattering designs, our Sunbleached and Valentina Bra are our best sellers.
You can look at our bralette collections; they are adorable and trendy among girls. They can be great teen bras! If your daughter prefers a less lacy design, our Georgia bra is elegant and chic!
All our sports bras have a back cross compression which supports your back and posture. They are all designed with high-performing wide straps and some with a front closure zip for easy on/off.
They are all great, but if we have to pick one, the Claret bra is by far the sports bra with the best-fitting reviews!

Yes, we accept foreign currencies and PayPal at checkout.

Most of our international orders shipped via Royal Mail do not incur any import charges. But it is up to the local customs department's discretion if they want to place any charges.
If you need any help receiving your parcels, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will do everything we can to make sure your order arrives safely.
If you can't see an update on your tracking number, the item is probably in transit to the destination country. The postal system will scan the parcel once it arrived at the sorting centre.
If you can’t see any update on the tracking after 1 week, please let us know, and we will contact the courier.
If, in any case, the items are lost in transit, we will arrange a replacement for you with express delivery.

We sincerely apologise for our delay in processing your return. If you have not yet received an email confirmation, we are probably still awaiting the warehouse notification regarding the parcel delivery. Sometimes, we also receive unidentified packages without order numbers. Please contact us via cs@juliemay.couk, and we will check with the warehouse to locate the parcel and process the return/exchange as soon as possible.
Yes, we accept returns for any unfit items. Please make sure you try on your knickers on top of your trousers. We will rework the return items for hygiene purposes.
It depends. Our team may take a while to receive your return parcel, and our handmade items run out quite fast. You can request a refund and place a new order if you need the items immediately.
We offer style swaps and size exchanges on our return portal if you are not in a hurry.
