JulieMay on the London Underground

Seeing JulieMay on the London Underground and Elizabeth line felt surreal in the best way.

If you'd told us a few years ago that JulieMay would be on the London Underground and Elizabeth line, in UK service stations and at trade shows, we'd probably have laughed, and then made tea. But here we are.

The point of these placements was to meet women in real life, on commutes, school runs and long drives, in all the in between moments where comfort matters most. It meant women could discover JulieMay beyond social media and search, in the places where daily life actually happens. (Getting the perfect shot was less glamorous: we rode the same escalator several times for one clean photo.)

Allergy & Free From Show · INDX · London Design Centre

Trade shows & B2B events

The more we listen in person, the better we build.

Trade shows are always a mix of useful, unpredictable and slightly chaotic, which is probably why we love them. At the Allergy & Free From Show we were once placed beside an allergy free food stall, and people asked if we sold gluten free underwear. We don't, but we understood the logic, and it was a reminder that clear education matters.

Across events and B2B meetings, including INDX Shows and the London Design Centre, we focused on what helps customers most: honest language about what allergy friendly lingerie really means.

Supporting Research in Breast Health

The research showed that wearing our organic cotton bra can reduce breast bounce by as much as 60%.

We have collaborated with the University of Portsmouth Research Group in Breast Health to study bra performance with leading experts in breast biomechanics. The group has conducted fundamental and applied research into breast biomechanics since 2005.

Researchers use the latest motion sensor technology to assess the performance of sports and everyday bras while simulating a range of movements. We invested in independent testing by experts in breast biomechanics. Understanding the mechanics behind breast movement reduction helps us design the best performing, most supportive bras. We encourage and support research groups, organisations and charities that promote breast health.
